Lou…the FACT that you are able to provide these shocking examples week after week of out of control crime and NO punishment is absolutely scary. And, these are just the ones you hear about. I am sure it’s just the tip of the iceberg. Keep up the good work!

I think the voters deserve the community they voted for. Zero empathy as they will continue. It great that this is being documented but I don't see anything changing in a one party city/state. I use to visit SF as its one hour away, now I consider it a no go zone.

Sadly true. The reason for all of this mess is the disconnect between how voters "feel" and their Leftist religion, vs reality. We can wish for a utopian world of peace and love, but wishing won't make it happen. These Leftist voters seem to think that all of these societal problems are created by capitalism and systemic oppressive policies. Again the reality is completely opposite - our problems come from our choices.

If people want to visit an alternate universe, that is what amusement parks, and movies are for. Here in the real world, we need to understand reality, accept it, and deal with it. We should demand our police get the best training, and equipment, and hold them to the highest realistic standards, but we also need to help them, and back them up, not take them for granted.

Agree Tony but today in so many places logic and reason are not as important as virtue signalling. In the name of equity crime can,t be punished. If a certain demographic is committing a disproportionate amount of crime they will be prosecuted more. We do not want bad cops doing bad things but the voters today have lost their minds. I only ask that they stop moving to the burbs and bring their madness with them.

Tom - people with mental issues generally don't recognize they have any issues. They often present themselves as clear thinking, reasonable, and friendly, until something bothers them that flips their crazy switch. Then there are the Marxists who's belief in utopian fantasies over whelms all logic. They bring that with them wherever they travel, and it spreads like cancer when others fail or refuse to confront it. And by confront, I don't mean to be negative, just educate people and our children to the dangers of living in a fantasy world. It's the very best place to live, until the owner delivers the bill to you, and demands you pay for it.

Lou, should also mention suspects’ probation was “ISS”, or Imposition of Sentence Suspended, which means no probation. It is a way the DA can make it sound like they gave the person probation without actually doing so

So go ahead, use a stolen gun in an attempted robbery in SF, spend a 3 day “weekend” in jail with no further consequence

If the accused was not a repeat offender, and the crime was not violent, and if it was actually a real pick-pocket, and the gun was actually a toy, then three days in the can and a 3yr probation would be fine. This was an attempted shake down strong arm robbery by real loaded gun armed thieves. The only good thing was no physical injuries. For those who have never had a real gun pointed in your face, you'll never forget it! That's a violent act.
